"A writer is a person for whom writing is more difficult than for other people," said Thomas Mann, the famous writer.
Writing can be a lonely task if you don't spend your days writing at the nearest 'Starbucks'.
More and more writers are experiencing that coaching helps in achieving success with less frustration and more fun.
Not only will you finish your projects, you will experience intense pleasure throughout the writing process. In addition, you will feel a great accomplishment for honoring your goal. You will be surprised and excited to witness how fast your work is progressing, and you will be amazed at how much pleasure writing gives you.
You will find it interesting to learn about yourself in many areas that seem to have little to do with your writing. As you are probably aware of, most writers end up sabotaging themselves in one way or the other. You probably also have those little voices that talk to you. In coaching we call them "Gremlins" and they sit on your shoulder, whispering in your ear that you are not good enough, knowledgeable enough, and that your manuscript will be so terrible that nobody will ever publish it! The good news is you can learn how to deal with them.
We will have fun discovering new and interesting revelations.
Maybe your creativity is lacking when you most need it, or maybe you are struggling with seemingly impossible deadlines. Often challenges suggest that changes in your life or in your writing style are required.
You know that your creativity is dependant on the way you feel. Don’t you agree that you deserve to live a happy, balanced life with excitement and realization of your full potential? A life where you honor yourself and your needs in a way that energizes you and boosts your creativity?
You may have responsibilities that are associated with a family, while working an other job. Juggling everything while trying to reach your writing goals is, needless to say, tough.
What I am offering as your coach is a nourishing, supportive and productive coaching relationship.
My intention is not to coach your manuscript; I want to coach YOU! I care about you, your well being, and your goals as a writer.
I can be by your side in the writing process and work with you to assure that your manuscript is completed.
I will cheer and celebrate with you as your weekly writing goals are achieved. If you haven’t completed your writing goals, we will work together to determine what is happening and prevent a major stop or writers block before it occurs.
There will likely be moments when you want to tear your hair out in frustration. I will be by your side tearing my hair out too, until we have managed to identify the cause and solution of your frustrations.
You know what is best for you, and you have all the answers regarding your life. But you can’t always see them because they may be carefully tucked away in your subconscious.
That is where I come in, I ask the right questions! And, as you will see, those questions can be asked in other settings than one-to-one coaching.
I can talk to you for hours about all you will gain from coaching, but the best way for you is to try it. Feel what it's like!
